Alumna Alice Leora Edwards was born April 19, 1882 in Monroe, Oregon. She graduated from Oregon Agricultural College (later Oregon State University) in 1906 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics. She received her M.A. degree in 1917 from Columbia University and her Ed. D. from Columbia University Teachers College in 1940. In 1917-1918 she was Assistant Professor of Dietetics at the University of Minnesota and in 1921-1926 she served as Dean of Home Economics at Rhode Island College...
